Development village andupliftment of economy is the central theme of ASSURE Foundation. This is the first priority in all thinking and action of the.Rural India has land resources and once activities are remunerative, there are enough hands to cultivate and produce what they need. It has everything needed to live in peace. However, slowly the villagers depending of farm andnon-farm activities are find themselves isolated and dejected. The peace and happiness has vanished with population explosion anddivision of resources. Income has depleted while aspirations have gone high with the development taking place in other sectors of economy. Quality of produce deteriorated, absence of quality education and medical facilities, no work creation has rendered the youth directionless. Famers and small holders are grappling with numerous problems in gettingqualityInputs, Irrigation facilities, no processing and value addition in products and difficulty in selling the produce profitably. Benefits of initiative at the level of Government are not reaching them in true spirit and confidence of farmers is dwindling.

The Foundation feels thatcollective approach to identify the problem of individual village and finding way is the only solution to the situation. They themselves can solve their problem with little assistance from outside in term of confidence building and knowledge sharing and making the benefits of Government schemes reach the villages. They however lack confidence and do not share and solve their problem collectively and unitedly. In order to realize this the foundation plans the process as under;

  • Farmers, laborer and other peasants shall be encouraged to form a group (minimum15-20 people) to discuss and analyze the problems of the village in the area of agriculture, education, health, cleanliness, civic amenities, safety, income generation, and other issue and chart out the possible solutions for themselves.
  • Trainings,Counselling andBrain Storming shall be encouraged associating Panchayat, villagers living outside the village, experts and Government officials to find most appropriate solution of problems.
  • Organize interventions tothrough collective approach of villagers and Government schemes to realize the potential and increased income through better inputs, mechanization, Value addition and marketing
  • Empowering the villages to decide theircourse of actions that are good for theirgrowth and well beings.

Realization:

  1. Being master of own destiny
  2. Helping each other collectively
  3. Processing and Value addition for increased income.
  4. Being independent of Government help slowly.
  5. Self-contentment.

The FOUNDATIONshall be instrumental to assist you help yourself. Developmental ideas will come from them and they shall own it with Foundation as friend, fellow and partner in all their need and good deeds. This will be a step toward preparing स्वच्छ, स्वस्थ, शिक्षित, समृद्ध, सुरक्षित, और सक्षम गाँव to contribute in taking India on top of the nations with developed economies.
